Fontus is a self-filling water bottle that takes air and turns it into drinking water. The water bottle works by extracting humidity from the surrounding air and condenses it into drinkable water. This means that humid air flows into the bottle and hits a series of hydrophobic surfaces which turn the water vapour into droplets.
The device is powered by a small solar panel on the top of the bottle that keeps the battery constantly charged so you never run out of water. The Fontus produces around 0.5 litres of water per hour.
